Also included is an extensive description of the religious orders in the area with the most active being the Order of Saint Augustine.  A description of the topographic features of the land is included along with a description of the rivers and other water sources. The smaller towns located in province are also described, which include Xelitla, Fuerte de Xalpa, Chicontepec, Guaxulla, Llamaltlan, Chapulhuacan, Tlanchinolticpac, Yagualíca, Hueyacocotlan, Molango, Suchicoatlan, Tzaqualtipan, and Malila. At the start of the manuscript is an illustration depicting the method of recording time in the Aztec calendar. Also included is a visual representation of the landscape, known as a pintura or map.
