Description:

A. S. Gonsalves, the then Ambassador of India to the USSR and Russia, writes a confidential letter to KGS, providing the material required for KGS' study project. His letter encloses a rough translation of the "Law on Strengthening The Ties Of School With Life And On Further Developing The System Of Public Education In the USSR", which was passed in December 1958. He proceeds to detail the considerations that led to modifying the educational system in the USSR, Mr. Khrushchev's efforts, and about the law itself.
