Old Boehle house, Quihi, exterior | Old Boehle house, Quihi. Long one story home with two-story carriage passageway in between sections of home. Carriage wheels visible in passageway. Home is in disrepair and appears abandoned with windows boarded up, damaged siding, damaged or sagging roofs, missing stucco, and piles of wood and stone in front. Two brick chimneys visible. House built partially of stone with stucco coating added, with wood shingle siding on upper part of two-story structure. Sign post visible with no sign attached. Land cleared in front of home and large tree behind home. | From a series of unique photographic images, which Williams took on his travels through central Texas in the 1920s, showing examples of vernacular architecture. Williams donated the negatives to the UT's School of Architecture in 1961 and they were subsequently transferred to the Alexander Architectural Archives.
