HUD 701 planning reports are United States Department of Housing & Urban Development Comprehensive Planning reports. HUD’s comprehensive planning assistance program, authorized under Section 701 of the 1954 housing act, provided two-thirds matching grants for planning by small towns and later metropolitan areas and states. By 1981, the 701 program was defunct. Reports include geographic locations in the United States, Australia, Canada, Columbia, England, Europe (Eastern), France, Germany, and Guam. | Prepared for the Office of the Governor, Division of Administration, state of South Carolina on behalf of the Abbeville County Planning Commission by Vismor, McGill and Bell, Inc.
