Description:
Two-story stone and wood structure in disrepair with wagon passageway housing ruined wagon. Panel-roofed, single story wings on either side are just visible in frame. The second-story has wood shingle siding, and a partially-collapsed, exterior wooden staircase provides access from the ground. The bottom level structure is stone with deteriorating stucco coating. There are grid windows and openings in the upper and lower levels. A small, bare tree stands in front, surrounded by scattered stone and debris. | From a series of unique photographic images, which Williams took on his travels through central Texas in the 1920s, showing examples of vernacular architecture. Williams donated the negatives to the UT's School of Architecture in 1961 and they were subsequently transferred to the Alexander Architectural Archives.
